Boys soccer out of playoffs after penalties
For a second straight season, the HRV boys soccer team had their 5A State title hopes crushed in the quarterfinals of OSAA State Playoffs.

HRV boys soccer have their season ended short in the quarterfinals of OSAA state playoffs for a second straight season. Last Saturday, the boys fell to Woodburn in penalty kicks by a score of 4-3. Jack McCaffrey, above, and (pictured below) Erik Pitones, midfielders/forwards, were challenged by an aggressive Woodburn defense all game. With McCaffrey graduating, Pitones steps into a bigger role next year as a senior.
