Lightly salt and pepper the lamb chops. Grill over a hot fire until medium rare. That’s it. Don’t mess with perfection. If you happen to find any garlic whistles, also called garlic scapes (they are the green tops of hard-neck garlic plants, and they look like giant green curlicues), grab some and grill to lay on top of the lamb chops.
