Mt. Hood residents oppose Dollar General

“Keep it Local,” a group of upper valley residents aiming to stop Dollar General from building a store in Mt. Hood, invited community members to meet in the Mt. Hood Town Hall gym on Tuesday to learn more about Dollar General and share their opinions. They also got to meet a representative of SimonCRE, the developer contracted to build the proposed Mt. Hood Dollar General.

Port evaluates success of waterfront parking plan

A group of upper valley residents aiming to stop Dollar General, a Tennessee-based chain of variety stores, from building a store in Mt. Hood will hold a town hall Aug. 28, 6 p.m., in the gym at the Mt. Hood Town Hall, as part of their community effort to “Keep Mt. Hood Local.”
