Girls soccer bounced out in first round of playoffs

For the fifth consecutive season, the Hood River Valley girls soccer program cracked a spot in the 5A Girls Soccer State Championship, but unlike other years, this year, the girls headed into state with its lowest seeding during its five-year playoff span.

Boys soccer eliminated in first round

After back-to-back state quarterfinal appearances for the Hood River Valley boys soccer program, HRV was unable to advance to the quarterfinals of the 5A Boys Soccer State Championship this season. The Eagles were knocked out of the state tournament in the first round by the Churchill Lancers.

Football season comes to an end

For the first time since the 2015-16 season, the Hood River Valley football team had a chance to advance to the 16-team 5A State Football Playoffs, but first, the Eagles needed to get past the Forest Grove Vikings in the Special District 1 crossover play-in game.
