Providence is calling a full-time IT Specialist 2 for a day shift position at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital, Hood River, OR.

In this position, you will:
· Install workstations and telecommunication peripheral equipment.
· Provide technical support and consultation for desktop, network, and telecommunications.

Qualifications for this position include:
· Associate's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems, OR equivalent combination of education/experience; a Bachelor's degree in one of these disciplines is preferred.
· Certifications: A+, Network, MCP Windows 2000 or XP, CISCO, or CCNA for example. Other similar certifications maybe accepted.
· Minimum 3 years experience as a PC Technician, Network Technician, Telecommunication Technician, or a position that had the same or similar primary duties with an Associate's degree, OR 5 yers experience in a position that had the same or similar primary duties without a degree.
· Must meet internal assessment standards relative to knowledge and skills, for performance at this level.
