Laurel has taken on a monumental task. She fills a huge void that exists in a land where day to day survival is difficult for many people, and the plight of wild animals is sometimes easily overlooked. She has helped increase awareness among many locals, especially schoolchidren, who have learned to appreciate their local fauna much more than otherwise would have been possible. She really deserves ALL our support as well as her staff for being exemplary community members and human beings.
