    FRIDAY ABOVE 6500 FEET...
    * WHAT...Moderate snow expected. Plan on difficult road
    conditions, especially over mountain passes. Total snow
    accumulations of 6 to 14 inches above 6500 feet with 1 to 5
    inches expected in the lower mountain valleys.
    * WHERE...Primarily above 6500 feet from Ketchum north into the
    Stanley Basin.
    * WHEN...Continuing through 9 AM MST Friday.
    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities due
    to blowing and drifting snow.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
    A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
    cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
    roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

  • ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM MST THIS
    EVENING...
    * WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions. Total
    snow accumulations of up to 2 inches, with localized bench
    amounts up to 5 inches, are expected. Also, sleet is expected
    for a brief time during the morning in areas on a line from
    Burley to Idaho Falls southward to the Utah border. There is
    still a remote chance of a brief period of freezing rain in the
    same area. Both sleet and freezing rain can make roads extremely
    slippery and hazardous. Expect the precipitation to change to
    all snow during the late morning hours.
    * WHERE...The Snake River plain from Idaho Falls southward, the
    eastern Magic Valley, the southern highlands from Cassia County
    to Franklin County, and the Cache Valley.
    * WHEN...Until 6 PM MST this evening.
    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at
    times.
