APPRAISER
Hood River County is looking for a hardworking property appraiser to produce credible and viable results for tax assessment purposes. You will have the opportunity to work independently outdoors, completing physical inspections of property, gathering property details and determining values. This position may be filled at the level of Property Appraiser Trainee or Property Appraiser, depending on qualifications and experience.

Essential Duties: Data Collection, Documentation, Analysis, and Appraisal, to name a few.

Minimum Requirements:
Trainee: High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus 2 years of education or experience in construction, finance, real estate or a related field or any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training as determined by the hiring authority.
Must have a valid Driver License
Appraiser: Graduation from college with major course in construction, real estate, banking or related field; related experience in real and personal property appraisal or any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training as determined by the hiring authority.
Must possess a valid Driver License.

Pay:
Trainee: $2,516-$3,213 per mo
Appraiser: $3,722-$4,753 per mo
