Rogue Farm Corps and co-sponsor BMCC Small Business Development Center hosts “Changing Hands: A Workshop on Farm Transfer and Access to Land” on Thursday, Feb. 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Blue Mt. Community College, Pendleton campus, Morrow building, rooms M7-M8.

“This workshop will bring together retiring farmers, beginning farmers, and family members for a full day of training on land access and succession planning,” said a press release. “We will also have facilitated networking throughout the day to introduce landseekers to landowners. If you are a retiring farmer or rancher, learn from experts about how to pass on your business. If you are a family member in an agricultural operation, learn about navigating family dynamics and the logistics of land transfer, leasing, and sale.”

The workshop is recommended for beginning farmers and ranchers.

Tickets are $20 with lunch included, or $10 for students at www.roguefarmcorps.org/planning, or contact Nella Mae Parks at 541-910-4098 or nellamae@roguefarmcorps.org. Blue Mt. Community College, Pendleton campus, is located at 2411 N.W. Carden Ave., Pendleton.
