All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

June 6 — 12th Street — Local resident issued a criminal citation for harassment.

June 7 — Third Street — Domestic assault reported. One male was arrested for class C felony assault IV and class C felony strangulation.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

June 2 — A Bingen resident was arrested and lodged at NORCOR on the charges of possession and distribution of cocaine, eluding on foot and criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

June 2 — E. Marina Drive, 900 block — Hit and run reported.

June 3 — I-84 — Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for lane violation. Through the course of the traffic stop, the male driver was found to be driving while suspended. His wife arrived on the scene to give him a ride after his citation was issued. The female driver was felony suspended and taken into custody for her driving status.

June 4 — Oak Street, 1600 block — Officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle near Cascade and 18th Street. The vehicle sped off as soon as the emergency lights were activated. The vehicle fled, turning into an apartment complex, hitting the curb. The vehicle continued to flee at a high rate of speed to the back of the complex. The male driver was ultimately arrested and lodged for felony attempting to elude police.

June 4 — Cascade Avenue — Hit and run reported to have occurred in a parking lot.

June 7 — Hood River — Officer took a report of a vehicle towing a trailer that had damaged a handrail on a public sidewalk.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

June 2 — Cascade Avenue — Male arrested for violating a restraining order.

June 4 — I-84 at milepost 62 — Pendleton resident arrested for a valid warrant out of St. Helens Municipal Court.

June 6 — State Street, 300 block — Hood River resident arrested on a local detainer.

June 8 — I-84 at exit 64 — Male arrested on a valid and confirmed warrant out of The Dalles.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

June 3 — Sieverkropp Drive, 700 block — Theft of items from a motor vehicle reported.

June 3 — Oak Street, 100 block — Male issued a criminal theft citation after stealing items from a local business that he worked at.

June 4 — Cascade Avenue, 2700 block — An individual illegally dumped refuse into a dumpster managed by a local business.

June 5 — State Street, 800 block — Theft II reported, in which a string trimmer used for lawn maintenance was stolen from in front of a local residence.

June 6 — I-84 at milepost 63 — A stolen vehicle out of Clark County was recovered. The male suspect was lodged at NORCOR.

June 6 — E. Marina Drive, 1100 block — Stolen vehicle recovered.

Other:

June 4 — 16th Street, 1600 block — Hood River male was reported missing by his brother. The male was located at OHSU.

June 5 — Old Columbia River Drive, 2600 block — Hood River resident cited for minor in possession of alcohol.

June 6 — Brookside Drive, 1300 block — Two found bicycles reported.

June 7 — I-84 at milepost 64 — Officer received a report of a runaway, suicidal juvenile. The juvenile was taken into custody, and he was placed under a police officer hold. The juvenile was transported to the hospital, where he was later released to his father.

June 8 — Cascade Avenue, 2600 block — Found electric blower reported.
