Reynolds, drake play House Concert Feb. 8

The community is invited to an evening of music by local musicians Mark Reynolds, right, and Jim Drake hosted by Adams Creek Co-Housing on Saturday, Feb. 8. Reynolds and Drake are inspired by the deep folk-blues and gospel-inflected country heard over the airwaves of rural Wasco County, said a press release. Reynolds, on guitar and slide guitar, writes songs that are at home in any genre. Drake, on lead mandolin and guitar, pays homage to Woody Guthrie, bluegrass-tinged instrumentals and “lost rock gems.” The concert is at 1419 Sherman in Hood River and opens at 6:30 p.m., with music starting at 7 p.m. (Please park on Sherman and walk up the driveway unless accessibility is an issue.) Attendees may bring snacks and/or beverages to share if desired. For details contact Becki Rawson at rrawson@gorge.net or 541-490-2025.
