The Hood River Aquatic Center is holding on for dear life as the infrastructure, that still has many of its parts from the original structure that was built in 1948, is in need of a revival.
To one and all, the current exhibit at Columbia Center for the Arts, “Community Conversation,” provides just that welcome.
“I was at a Friends of the Library meeting,” says Laurel DeTar, “and they asked for a volunteer to decorate the lobby. I’d just taken a flower arranging class at Lucy’s Informal Flowers and thought I’d like to try out my new skills.”
