HRV basketball teams were unable to avoid season sweeps by Pendleton Tuesday night, with both Buckaroo teams proving formidable Columbia River Conference opponents for the Eagles. At home, the boys lost 93-51 and the girls lost 71-33 on the road.

HRV’s success continued in game two, as four pitchers combined on a one-hitter in a 6-5 win to help coach Eric Harjo’s Eagles earn the impressive sweep Saturday at HRV’s Traner Field.
